About the Park

Fishery Creek Touring Park is a mixture of well drained grassland and shingle pitches in varying sizes. Our ever-popular prime pitches place all the emphasis on the scenic waterfronts that surround us, with stunning views of either the tidal creek or the adjacent lake, making it a truly waterside campsite. Our plus pitches are positioned just one row behind the creek front and our standard pitches are central to the park. Whether you are coming in a one-man tent or a 10m caravan, we have something for everyone.

The vast majority of our pitches have electric hook up and there are multiple water points and motorhome service points around the park for guests’ convenience. Pitches are individually spaced with post and rope fencing to ensure visitors benefit from the spacious park layout. Tarmac, green or shingle access roads lead to all pitches and to our private slipway.

Fishery Creek Touring Park has been awarded the Gold David Bellamy Award for our passion for minimising our environmental impact and our enthusiasm for creating a wildlife-friendly park. We benefit from being in a unique location and our biodiversity is flourishing, so we aim to keep it that way for future generations to enjoy.  As you stroll around our site you will see many dedicated wildlife areas.

Butterfly Bars and Insect Hotels

These flower beds have been planted with highly scented shrubs and flowering plants to support butterflies and other insects, along with the insect hotels.
Wildlife Verge
An area of grass running the full length of the tidal creek has been left to grow, with wild flowers providing a much needed ‘wildlife highway’ for insects in the park.
Wildlife Accommodation
Bird, bat and owl boxes are all in use around the park, as well as hedgehog hideaways. Spotting the boxes is certainly easier than spotting the residents!
